Whiskered Auklet Aethia pygmaea
Rare. It is thought that many of them staying near the breeding area during the winter and rarely visit at off Hokkaido and the northern part of Honshu; but the exact areas of passing the winter around Japan are not known. They are rarely observed in years when there are many large flocks of Crested Auklets.
