Long-billed Murrelet Brachyramphus perdix
Uncommon. Endemic.
We have the realization their populations around Japan has decreased in recent years. In the summer, Adult and Juvenile of this bird have been observed at sea off Shiretoko, Hokkaido. From the above there is a possibility they breed in Hokkaido. They can be seen at sea off the north of central Honshu in the winter.
